Facility Improvements

The final decision regarding the replacement fencing for Court 1 is still pending. The preference would be for individual panels as opposed to one continuous length of fencing as this means that any future damage could be put right by replacing a single panel. Sadly this luxury comes at an additional cost!

At the time of writing it is planned that works to Court 1 ( to include removal of the court surface, reinstatement, new drainage channels, fencing and lines) will commence in March 2010. Members will be contacted by email ahead of the works advising them when the court will be unusable.

The boundary works are now almost complete. Only a single section behind the ‘shed’ remains to be done.

Quotes for the drainage work on the football pitch have been received. Funding has yet to be finalised to undertake this work.
